Job Summary

  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation of all operational standards.

  • Must have a thorough understanding of Luxury Quality Assurance (LQA) procedures and consistently apply them.

  • Provides support to other outlets as needed during peak workload periods.

  • Handles incoming reservation calls promptly and efficiently.

  • Manages the allocation of reservations to appropriate tables.

  • Orders flowers for the restaurant when necessary.

  • Collects Turkish and English newspapers from the concierge desk.

  • Welcomes guests warmly and provides them with a brief overview of the restaurant.

  • Escorts guests when they leave the premises.

  • Monitors and manages stock requirements from the storage.

  • Oversees Micros system operations including opening checks.

  • Assists with restaurant setup operations.

  • Supports the preparation and cleaning of tables within assigned stations.

  • Follows opening and closing checklists meticulously.

  • Assigns stations to service staff reviews side duties and coordinates task distribution.

  • Always greets guests at the restaurant entrance; ensures someone is available if unable to do so personally.

  • Ensures the restaurant entrance area is clean and tidy at all times.

  • Inspects each table to verify cleanliness completeness of setup spotless glassware and cutlery absence of crumbs on chairs and clean carpets.

  • Collects guest feedback regarding food and service quality; promptly addresses any issues and reports to the relevant department.

  • Collaborates with the supervisor to plan staff breaks according to business flow.

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the city and transportation routes providing accurate directions to guests.

  • Has extensive knowledge of the menu and wine list assisting guests by answering questions and making recommendations.

  • Fully knowledgeable about the hotel and its services including opening and closing hours of all food and beverage outlets.

  • Ensures all tables are properly set and side duties completed at the end of each shift.

  • Communicates all relevant information to the next shift hostess and supervisor maintaining a detailed log.
