The Role
This is a split litigation and corporate paralegal position with a strong emphasis on business and complex litigation. The paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation while also assisting with related corporate and contract matters.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supporting attorneys in complex business and real estate litigation
Preparing and managing litigation binders and trial materials
Utilizing Relativity for document review and management
Using TrialDirector and other trial presentation tools
Attending court hearings depositions and trials with attorneys
Drafting and assisting with pleadings discovery subpoenas and motions
Managing deadlines and court filings
Assisting with corporate support work including contracts and related documentation
Coordinating with clients courts and opposing counsel
Maintaining case files and litigation databases
Meeting annual billable requirements
The Ideal Candidate
5 years of paralegal experience with a strong emphasis on business or complex litigation
Experience supporting attorneys through trial and court proceedings
Proficiency with Relativity strongly preferred
Experience with TrialDirector or similar litigation presentation software
Exposure to corporate or contract work alongside litigation matters
Highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing a very busy desk
Strong communication skills and professional courtroom presence
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
