Lab Associate

We are seeking a Laboratory Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia CA.

In this role you will perform routine testing procedures to generate accurate data for clinical trials research ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

What youll be doing:

• Perform routine specimen analysis and document results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate validity of analytical results using lab computer system algorithms.
• Identify and escalate unusual results or potential performance errors to senior personnel.
• Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis and manage post-analysis sample and reagent storage.
• Conduct secondary review of analytical results when qualified.
• Assist in writing new laboratory procedures and maintain good housekeeping aligned with 6S standards.
• Notify staff of supply shortages and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in continuing education and comply with all safety quality and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required OR Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology or Medical Laboratory Technology (required for some CAP/CLIA labs).
• Minimum 6 months relevant laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education training and experience.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory principles GLP and applicable regulatory standards.
• Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Understanding of laboratory safety infection control and hazardous chemical handling.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment instrumentation and terminology.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain effective reporting procedures.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with attention to detail in a regulated environment.
