Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Software Engineer to join our APIMS software development team in Clearfield UT. This role supports the development and maintenance of APIMS an enterprise web application used worldwide across more than 200 Department of Defense installations.
You will work alongside a highly experienced team of engineers and have the opportunity to grow your skills through hands-on development and mentorship in a collaborative environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and enhance Java-based web applications
Collaborate with a team of 1012 engineers in an Agile environment
Participate in peer code reviews integration testing and quality assurance
Contribute to database modeling and design
Support user interface design efforts
Collaborate with requirements analysts and subject matter experts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
Proficiency in:
Java JavaScript HTML CSS
SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Experience developing Java web applications
Experience with database design and modeling
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile development
Experience working in CMMI and/or ISO 9001 environments
Experience designing data structures and user interfaces
Familiarity with technologies such as:
Spring MVC ReactJS JPA/Hibernate
JSON AJAX XML
Maven Eclipse Jira
Tomcat
SVN CVS or Git
