ABOUT ONEX:

Onex two primary businesses are Private Equity and Private Equity we raise funds from third-party investors and invest them along with Onex own investing capital through the funds of our private equity platforms: Onex Partners and ONCAP. Similarly in Credit we raise and invest capital across several private credit liquid credit and public equity strategies.

Our investors include a broad range of global clients including public and private pension plans sovereign wealth funds insurance companies family offices and high net worth individuals. Onex has $55.9 billion in assets under management of which $8.4 billion is Onex own investing capital. We generate value for our shareholders through two segments: Investing and Asset Management.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth of our Talent Acquisition team. Onex is seeking a Manager Talent Acquisition to drive end-to-end recruitment efforts across all business lines globally. Reporting to the Director Talent Management your goal will be to help deliver a seamless and best-in-class hiring experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage end-to-end recruitment processes globally to ensure an efficient and smooth experience for both the candidate and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to define role requirements develop job descriptions and support the sourcing of high-quality candidates.
  • Maintain and manage Onex applicant tracking system Greenhouse ensuring timely and accurate entry of candidate data and hiring activity. Drive innovation to ensure we leverage technology in the appropriate areas of our recruitment process.
  • Utilize and maintain Greenhouses CRM system to develop a strong talent pipeline across a range of functions and geographies.
  • Screen resumes conduct initial interviews and provide structured feedback to hiring manager(s).
  • Lead proactive market mapping initiatives to ensure we have an up to date understanding of key talent pools and related market insights.
  • Manage relationships with external search firms and vendors ensuring alignment with Onex standards and expectations.
  • Have oversight of key recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports as required.
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives where relevant.
  • Leverage data and market intelligence to advise on talent trends and policy changes across the relevant markets.

Candidate Profile:

  • 6-10 years of experience in in-house talent acquisition executive search or recruitment preferably in financial services alternatives or professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead multiple projects and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software; Greenhouse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Clear and effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Independent resourceful and solutions-oriented nature.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for recruitment excellence.
