Job Summary:
MotorCars of Atlanta is seeking a positive hard-working disciplined Technician to join our team. Individual should require limited to no assistance in performing quality inventory inspections basic maintenance mount and balance of tires and performing alignments. This is a part-time hourly/ Flat Rate position with opportunities for future growth to a full-time flat rate line technician within the company. Must have good listening skills be able to take direction proactively and have the ability to read interpret and execute detailed repair instructions. We are looking to try a night shift 5pm to 11pm to handle inventory overflow we are unable to get completed during normal business hours. Individual should have enough experience to be self sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections maintenance and assist senior technicians on various repairs withMcLaren Lamborghini Lotus Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin and off brand vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.

• Learn and retain skills involved in diagnosingand troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues using dealership-provided diagnostic technical manuals diagrams and computerized systems to accurately and efficiently help complete repairs and services.

• Learn to work within a DMS and keep detailed records of all work done including parts lists and labor a clean and organized work environment following all safety protocols and precautions.

• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure seamless and timely completion of repairs.

• Learn necessary steps and skills to execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• ASE Certified or technical school experience required.

• High school diploma or equivalent ASE Certification a plus.

• Some form of experience with mechanical work on cars.

• Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent hand-eye coordination.

• Proficient in computer use and shop equipment preferred with knowledge of modern automotive systems and technology.

• Excellent customer service attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and guidelines.

• Positive friendly attitude along with an eagerness to improve.

• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively.

• Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications.

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

• Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
