Job Type: 13-weeks travel Contract
Shift Details: Days 5x8s 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $40.00/hour - $43.00/hour
Weekly Gross: $2100/week
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide therapeutic care and support to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. This position is strictly outpatient focusing on rehabilitation services to enhance patient mobility functional ability and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans for patient rehabilitation.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training as directed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team.
- Maintain a clean safe and supportive therapy environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must reside 80 miles from the facility - Required
- Minimum 1 years of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience - Required
- Outpatient therapy experience preferred
Required Certifications & Documents:
- Active PTA License/Certification - Required
- Valid Drivers License - Required
