Job Description: Primary Packing Machine Operator
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Primary Packing Machine Operator with proven expertise in blister and bottle packaging to join our leading pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The role involves operating monitoring and maintaining primary packing machines to ensure efficient compliant and high-quality packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor primary packing machines (blister and bottle lines) to ensure smooth production flow.
- Set up machines adjust parameters and perform routine checks to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with GMP SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate technical problems to maintenance teams.
- Maintain accurate production records batch documentation and logbooks.
- Ensure proper cleaning and line clearance before and after batch operations.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to meet daily targets.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / ITI / . in Mechanical Electrical or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical primary packing operations.
- Hands-on expertise in blister packing machines (Alu-Alu PVC-Alu) and bottle filling/packing lines.
- Strong knowledge of GMP GDP and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to leading pharma manufacturing setups.
- Experience with automated packing lines and modern packaging technologies.
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
