Senior Network Automation Consultant (Ansible)
White Plains NY
6 Months Contract

Overview:
Seeking a senior consultant to lead enterprise network automation using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. The role will transition manual CLI-based network operations to an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) model across a large public utility environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess current network infrastructure and design automation framework
Deploy and configure Ansible Automation Platform
Integrate with GitLab ServiceNow CMDB CyberArk and Cisco Identity Services Engine
Develop playbooks for firmware upgrades compliance audits configuration management AAA SSH SNMP and 802.1X
Automate Cisco enterprise switches/routers and F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager
Support compliance frameworks (NIST/NERC)
Provide documentation reporting and stakeholder briefings

Requirements:
7 years enterprise network engineering
3 years hands-on Ansible Automation Platform
Strong Cisco routing/switching expertise
Experience with IaC Git-based workflows RBAC and secrets management
Compliance automation experience preferred

Additional:
Government/utility experience and relevant certifications are a plus.
Professional references required.
