Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cashel. Duties to include:
- Perform routine inspections of the hotel premises identifying and addressing maintenance issues promptly
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks across various areas including plumbing electrical systems carpentry and HVAC
- Respond efficiently to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to hotel operations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Proficiency in various maintenance tasks including plumbing electrical work carpentry and HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols relevant to hotel maintenance
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organisational abilities and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays
