The position

As aFront End Developerat agap2 you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking Fintech Telco Retail Sports and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You will work on modern web applications using React and TypeScript contributing to scalable secure and high-quality solutions. You will collaborate closely with other engineers in an agile environment and take ownership of code quality and best practices.

• Develop and maintain web applications usingReactJS
• Build and optimize backend services usingExpress or similar HTTP server libraries
• Writestrictly typed TypeScriptcode with a strong focus on maintainability and scalability
• Work withWebpackandES6 modulesto manage application builds
• Implement responsive and maintainable styles usingSass Less or similar CSS preprocessors
• Design develop and optimizeRESTful APIs
• Ensure application security includingauthentication authorization and access management(JWT OAuth RBAC)
• Write and maintainunit and integration tests(Jest Cypress or similar)
• Maintain high code quality using tools such asESLint Prettier and Git workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in anAgile / Scrumenvironment

Nice to Have

• Experience withCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins GitLab CI)
• Some experience withDocker
• Previous work inScrum teams
• Knowledge ofSOLID DRY or similar design principles
• Familiarity withmicroservice architectures
• Bonus points for experience withmicrofrontends

What you bring to the position

• Strong experience withReactJS
• knowledge ofAWS
• AdvancedTypeScriptskills with strict typing across the codebase
• Experience withWebpackand modern JavaScript (ES6)
• Proficiency inCSS preprocessors(Sass Less or similar)
• Hands-on experience withGitversion control
• Strong understanding ofRESTful API architecture
• Basic understanding ofapplication security authentication and authorization
• Experience writingunit and/or end-to-end tests
