The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with Marriott brand standards. This role leads by example supervises associates conducts quality inspections and promotes a culture of service safety and accountability. The supervisor works collaboratively with Front Office and Engineering to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support housekeeping associates during daily operations
Inspect guestrooms and public spaces to ensure Marriott cleanliness and brand standards are met
Coach train and motivate associates to deliver exceptional service
Address guest concerns promptly and assist with service recovery when needed
Ensure proper use of supplies equipment and cleaning procedures
Enforce safety sanitation and loss-prevention standards
Communicate room status and priorities effectively with the Front Desk
Previous housekeeping or hotel operations experience required; supervisory experience preferred
Working knowledge of Marriott brand standards and cleanliness expectations
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing to meet operational and guest service needs
Strong leadership coaching and communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills; experience with hotel systems preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand walk bend and lift as required to perform job duties
This position offers competitive pay based on experience. Benefits include dental insurance paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay in accordance with company policy. $16 per hour
