This is a full-time position based out of the Charlotte North Carolina offices and is not eligible for remote work.

At Union Church theGroupsDirectors primary purpose is to cultivate and create opportunities for people to find freedom through an intentional community where people become known accepted supported and developed. This includes recruiting and training group leaders creating a scalable coaching structure and leading the pastoral care administration at their campus.

General Responsibilities

• Youll be a visible leader on the campus executing the vision of the church andGroups.
• Youll assist in the overall leadership of the campus promoting connection and discipleship throughGroups.
• Youll oversee all Group leaders structures tracking metrics and group health.
• Youll identify opportunities to regularly integrateGroupsinto every aspect of the church
• Youll develop and implement an infrastructure of all standard operating systems cultural expectations volunteer leadership and financial viability for the area you oversee.

Must-Haves

• Passion for discipleship and connecting people into a community
• High-level networking/relational strengths with an ability to execute
• Ability to make sound critical decisions under pressure
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills

ADDITIONAL MUST-HAVES

• • Bachelors degree in related field (or relevant work experience)
  • 3-5 years of work experience in field
  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams of diverse skillsets

Nice-To-Haves

• Management experience
• An ability to read and contextualize data and communicate it in a way that moves others to action
• Experience working or high-level volunteering for a church non-profit.
• Proficient in Google Drive Suite

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS

• Flexible schedule. (Workweek is Sunday-Thursday. Frequent night and weekend availability will be requested)

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand for 30 minutes.

Union Church offers a generous compensation package.
