As we continue to growwerelooking for a Construction Estimator with a focus on commercial Cladding to join our Cladding Estimating Department. This isa great opportunityfor someone who thrives in a fast-paced hands-on environment and wants to contribute to meaningful high-impact projects.

What Youll Do:

Review and analyze blueprints specifications and roofing project proposals
Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing projects including labour materials equipment and permits
Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids quotations schematic drawings and specifications
Perform site visits to gather information and details necessary for accurate estimates
Negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Advise on tendering procedures examine and analyze tenders recommend tender awards and conduct negotiations
Establish and maintain tendering process and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers contractors and subcontractors
Prepare and submit quotation proposals to clients
Coordinate with project managers and sales teams to understand project requirements and timelines
Track and adjust cost estimates based on project changes and updates
Stay updated on industry trends material costs and competitor pricing

What You Bring to the Team

Bachelors in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in cladding construction façade systems or building envelope projects
Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and quantity take-offs
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams suppliers and clients
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office BluebeamPlanSwift Excel andGoNest(or similar estimating/optimization software)
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Problem-solving ability

Hourly: $38.46
