Senior Legal Counsel Financial Regulatory FinTech to Deloitte Legal

At Deloitte Legal we work to offer our clients genuine comprehensive solutions where qualitative advice industry knowledge and commercial thinking are combined with technical solutions. At Deloitte Legal you will be part of a proactive and growing team consisting of lawyers with broad knowledge in areas such as corporate law M&A labour law commercial agreements and data protection. 

We work with among other things: 

• Analysis of regulated or unregulated activities licensing requirements applications to the SFSA

• System of Governance design drafting and implementation GAP analysis  

• Regulatory advice in connection with M&A and restructurings 

• Ownership- and management assessment applications

• Regulatory agreements (outsourcing distribution agreements agreements with payment service providers general T&Cs suppliers)  

• Product design

• Assistance to foreign clients to establish and develop operations in Sweden (FoS and FoE) 

• End-to-End implementation of regulatory frameworks: Third party management & outsourcing AML/TF DORA incident management product approval 

Our Financial Regulatory team currently has particular expertise in banking insurance fintech and payments. We mainly work together with colleagues from Deloittes other business areas and our international network.  

Our team is a newly established team and the role involves depending on your seniority assisting in building up the new offering within Financial Regulatory which also includes business development marketing and leading our more junior employees.

Location: Stockholm.
 

Qualifications :

We are looking for: 

•  Someone with a law degree (LL.M) 

• Business-oriented entrepreneurial and unpretentious 

• Good collaboration skills social competence and experience in project management 

• As most of the work is done in English you speak and write English fluently 

• Preferably at least a few years of experience within financial regulatory (we are open to adapt the role to your seniority)
