Role Overview

The successful candidate will ensure data integrity security and accessibility across the organization enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture framework including data models pipelines and storage solutions.
• Ensure scalability performance and security of data platforms leveraging Microsoft Fabric.

Data Engineering

• Lead the design and development of data ingestion transformation and integration processes.
• Implement best practices for CI/CD medallion architecture and real-time analytics using Fabric components (Data Factory Data Warehouse Power BI).

Data Governance

• Establish and enforce data governance policies standards and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
• Utilize Microsoft Purview for data cataloging lineage classification and compliance management.
• Drive initiatives for data quality stewardship and ownership across business units.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and mentor an internal data team while using externals where necessary.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners and IT leadership to align data strategy with business goals.
• Act as a data culture advocate promoting best practices and continuous improvement while providing strong communication skills with leadership and end users.

Qualifications :

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in data architecture data engineering and data governance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake Data Factory Data Activator Power BI) and Microsoft Purview (Data Map Unified Catalog Compliance Manager).
• Expertise in data modeling ETL processes and pipeline orchestration.
• Familiarity with security frameworks regulatory compliance and risk management in data environments.
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-driven analytics and Copilot integration in Microsoft Fabric.
• Certifications in Microsoft Fabric Purview or related data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and hybrid data architectures.
