The opportunity
The objective of our consultingrisk services is to provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. At EY we are committed to building a better working world. Your key responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant with 5-10 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting within the sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance a deep understanding of operational processes and the ability to lead risk and controls project teams. Candidates must have experience implementing or using ERP tools like SAP Oracle Maximo etc. You will operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems resources and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. You can expect to work with client personnel to analyze evaluate and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process and will assist clients and other Risk professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.

- Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
- Drive risk and controls project teams ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Mentor and develop junior team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To qualify for theroleyou must have
- A bachelors or masters degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities particularly Work Management Asset Management and/or Utility accounting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Successful candidates must workin excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required.
Ideally youll also have
- A bachelors or masters degree in business accounting finance computer science information systems engineering or a related discipline
- Relevant certifications are a plus. PMP Six Sigma CPA CA CISA CISSP CISM CBCP CIA CIPP CGEIT certification is desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $87800 to $160900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $105400 to $182800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options.
