Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Civil/Site Project Engineer/ Manager is a professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Engineer shall be self-motivated capable of acting as firms representative to clients and providing support to branch offices in NJ/PA/DE/MD/NC area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering.
- 4 years of related experience.
- Perform and/or oversee civil/site design for a variety of projects including parks playgrounds athletic fields sports courts schools/colleges/universities buildings sidewalks and streets.
- Design various site plans features and details using Civil 3D or other computer aided design software.
- Analyze survey reports maps drawings blueprints aerial photography or other topographical or geological data.
- Review existing conditions to identify engineering obstacles and assess potential project impacts.
- Design grades for new site plans and improvements.
- Support field activities for our construction inspection staff including providing timely data shop drawing review and client coordination.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including but not limited to Word Excel etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 4 years of related experience.
- Stormwater design to support various project types.
- Ability to perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling as required.
- Proficient in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Operate under limited supervision.
- Proven ability to multitask appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
- Experience working with clients.
