The position

As aDevOps Engineerat agap2 you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking Fintech Telco Retail Sports and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You will focus on theend-to-end migration of the existing data landscape to the cloud following an operating model that has already been successfully implemented. The migration will be executed inphases. This pilot phase serves to validate the technical architecture delivery model governance structure and collaboration between internal stakeholders and external development partners.

• Assessment and analysis of the current data landscape including on-premise systems integrations and dependencies across business domains.
• Design and implementation of a cloud-based data architectureusing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Migration of data from core systems including SAP S/4HANA and other source systems into the new cloud environment.
• Development of streaming and batch data pipelines leveraging technologies such as Kafka and PostgreSQL to ensure reliable scalable and near-real-time data processing.
• Infrastructure provisioning and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions to enable consistent repeatable deployments.
• Integration with existing applications and APIs ensuring continuity of business processes during and after the migration.
• Validation testing and data quality assurance in close collaboration with Data Stewards assigned to each data pillar.
• Gradual decommissioning or coexistence of legacy/on-premise components where applicable to minimize operational risk.

What You Bring to the Position

• Proven experience as aDevOps Engineer / Cloud Developerwithin large-scaledata platform or cloud migration projects.
• Strong hands-on experience migratingenterprise data landscapesfrom on-premise or hybrid environments to the cloud working closely with architects and data stakeholders.
• Ability to work in adistributed international team setup collaborating with architects Data Stewards and external partners during pilot and rollout phases.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)as the primary cloud environment
• SAP S/4HANAas a core source system within the data landscape
• Kafkafor event streaming and real-time data integration
• PostgreSQLfor relational data storage and processing
• GitHub Actionsfor CI/CD pipeline automation
• Terraformfor Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
