Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator in Kernersville NC.

Shift: 1st Shift 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday

Pay Rate: $17/hour

Responsibilities:

Set up and adjust machines that include hand rollers benders etc.
Read and interpret traveler to determine what tooling to use.
Use tape measures and calipers and other necessary measuring tools to determine correct dimensions and thickness of material.
Create/Load programs and load tools into presses. This includes installing punches and dies aligning tooling setting up appropriate tonnage and applying safe distance requirements.
Read blueprint to determine if bends are correct.
Develop set-up sheets for individual parts.
Record all labor efficiently and consistently.
Know and adhere to all machine safety rules.
Follow work instructions to ensure job is being done correctly.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on the machines as designated by the Maintenance Manager.
Perform secondary processes (ex. deburr material handling pems handnotch etc.) as required.
