Role Overview
The Creative & Design Specialist is responsible for translating the brands story into strong visual and digital content across social media on-property materials and marketing campaigns. This role goes beyond graphic design requiring a creative eye for storytelling content creation and audience engagement particularly in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Design Specialist
- Design visual assets for social media digital campaigns on-property collaterals and internal communications
- Ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and visual standards
- Adapt concepts into multiple formats (posts stories reels covers banners signage)
Social Media Content Creation
- Create engaging content for Instagram Facebook and other relevant platforms
- Develop simple content concepts (visual caption direction) in collaboration with the marketing team
- Capture basic photo and video content using mobile devices when needed
- Edit short-form videos (Reels Stories) and optimize visuals for social performance
Creative Support & Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing Sales and Operations teams to support campaigns and initiatives
- Assist in brainstorming creative ideas for promotions events and seasonal activations
- Manage creative timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
Creative & Technical Skills
- Strong graphic design skills with a good sense of layout typography and visual hierarchy
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign); basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro After Effects or equivalent) are an advantage
- Familiarity with social media formats trends and content best practices
Content & Storytelling
- Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into engaging visual content
- Understanding of how visuals support storytelling and brand positioning
- Comfortable creating content that feels natural warm and on-brand for hospitality
Experience
- Minimum 13 years of experience in graphic design creative content or social media-related roles
- Experience in hospitality lifestyle or brand-focused environments is an advantage
