The Geotechnical team brings together more than 80 employees who in recent years have contributed to major projects such as the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) the Samuel De Champlain Bridge and the development of Quebecs battery industry.
Your role
Be responsible for carrying out geotechnical study projects of various scales.
Supervise and train junior and intermediate engineers.
Participate in the administrative management of projects and associated personnel.
Prepare proposals for professional services.
Review and perform geotechnical engineering calculations (bearing capacity settlements slope stability pavement soil liquefaction numerical modeling etc.).
Review technical reports and draft them when necessary.
Collaborate actively with other departments to maintain existing synergy.
About you
Bachelors degree in civil geological mining engineering or another relevant field.
Masters or Ph.D. in geotechnics is an asset.
More than 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
Possess an ASP Construction card.
Hold a valid drivers license.
Excellent spoken and written French.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to work independently.
Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and software commonly used in geotechnics.
