Introduction Reporting to the Principal the Early Childhood Educator works directly with children and is a member of the pre-primary program team that: - Uses the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework create a safe nurturing environment for children in the Pre-primary Program - Designs and implements age appropriate activities and program plans that promote learning through play creativity and exploration. - Monitors and assesses each childs progress identifying areas that may require additional support or intervention. - Regularly communicates with families to share updates on their childs progress and discuss any concerns or developmental needs. |

Minimum Requirements - A diploma or degree in early childhood education from a recognized institution; - Recent experience (within last 5 years) working with pre-school children in an early learning environment; and - Current certification in First Aid/CPR - C |
