We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer (Moving I-4 Forward) to join our team within the FDOT Corridors Program Office (CPO)located in Celebration FL. This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week. This position will assist the Moving I-4 Forward program one of the highest-profile projects in the state! This position will work with a team of engineers at the CPO FDOT and others around the state to deliver this program.

How will you contribute to the team

As part of the infrastructure team youll serve an integral role in the firm by preparing project specifications; preparing complete project documents analysis and reports; analyzing and interpreting data; performing analyses of design planning and impact studies as well as cost analyses design requirements site selection and limited design layouts; designing complete projects systems components and/or processes; and performs quality control reviews and field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.

This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams.

What will you contribute

Possess a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

P. E. is required

Be knowledgeable of applicable federal state and local codes criteria regulations and ordinances.

Be proficient in production software and construction document production.

Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.

Possess strong oral and written communication skills and can effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients customers contractors team members and other key stakeholders.

Expected compensation range is between $125000 - $138000 annually OR $60.00 - $66.00 hourly depending on skills experience and geographical location.
