Job Purpose
The Assistant CBM Engineer supports the Senior Expert Condition Monitoring in implementing and executing Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) activities. The role contributes to ensuring high reliability efficiency and availability of plant assets through continuous equipment monitoring data analysis and predictive maintenance in line with ENGIEs operational and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out CBM activities such as vibration monitoring thermography oil analysis and motor current signature analysis.
- Support in collecting validating and analyzing equipment condition monitoring data to detect early failure indicators.
- Assist in preparing diagnostics and technical reports with recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of planned interventions.
- Maintain and update data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment issues and propose improvement actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Ensure all activities comply with ENGIEs Health Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or related discipline).
- 03 years of relevant experience in maintenance or predictive maintenance (internship or junior role acceptable).
- Knowledge of condition monitoring techniques (vibration thermography lubrication analysis ultrasound) preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP PM Maximo or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong skills in MS Office; exposure to data analysis tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
