Duties and Responsibilities - Operate assembly press/equipment while following company procedures
- Review the Operator Display Board prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts
- Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances
- Correctly record scrap every hour when instructed
- Correct application of all internal and external labels when required including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging.
- Daily review of all applicable quality alerts
- Immediately notify Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks (ie sample boards inspection instructions SPC etc.).
- Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates during communication meetings.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ie Quality Manual Associate Handbook etc).
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
