Position Overview

This position provides a great opportunity to work in our production greenhouses planting growing and shipping plants for our retail stores.

Responsibilities Can Include

-Filling pots with soil for transplanting.

-Prepping plants for planting. Transplanting in greenhouse and/or planting on potting machine.

-Labeling product with tags/stickers.

-Crop maintenance (watering spacing moving separating tying pinching cutting back and weeding).

-Maintain cleanliness of facility.

-Assist with loading/pulling plants for shipment to both sales locations.

-Assist other departments as needed.

-Heavy lifting (50 pounds) may be required; must be able to move loaded carts of plants.

-Utilizing a step ladder for care of hanging baskets.

-Other duties as assigned

Hours/Seasons

Part to full-time seasonal hours. Holidays weekends and evenings may be required in peak season and as needed the remainder of the year.
