Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Construction Supervision to join our team in Jeddah Saudi this critical role you will oversee the electrical aspects of large-scale construction projects ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Supervise the installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems in construction projects
- Review and approve electrical designs drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and project requirements
- Coordinate with contractors architects and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues
- Manage project timelines and budgets related to electrical systems
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders
- Implement quality control measures for electrical installations
- Ensure adherence to local and international electrical standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide innovative solutions
- Mentor junior electrical engineers and technicians on the team
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 3 years in construction supervision
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical system design software
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards including familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with large-scale construction projects in the Middle East
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
