Job Summary

At Sofitel Bahrain we are looking for an experienced and highly organized Chief Stewarding professional to lead our Stewarding Department and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene and operational efficiency across all kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead train and supervise the stewarding team to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Maintain hygiene sanitation and safety standards in line with HACCP and hotel policies

  • Oversee inventory storage and distribution of cleaning materials and kitchen equipment

  • Coordinate washing cleaning and polishing of kitchen utensils silverware and equipment

  • Monitor breakage equipment maintenance and cost control

  • Collaborate closely with Culinary and F&B teams to support operational needs

  • Prepare duty rosters and manage staff performance and schedules


Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as Chief Steward in a luxury hotel or resort

  • Strong leadership organization and communication skills

  • Solid knowledge of hygiene sanitation standards and kitchen operations

  • Ability to manage a multicultural team and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and a hands-on management approach
