GIS Analyst
AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to join our Kansas City MO Office as a GIS Analyst.
Major Function/Role:
Under supervision performs standard geographic information system (GIS) work whiledeveloping professional proficiency.

Job Duties:
Work involves GIS studies of considerably complex problems or GIS support to complex projects. Work requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories precepts and practices. Specific duties will include:
- - Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations which may include thefollowing:
- Conducts data gathering conversion and analysis of GIS data.
- Prepares data documentation or metadata for GIS Projects.
- Prepares maps and exhibits with GIS data sets.
- Participates in client needs analyses.
- Maintains continued knowledge of technology developments in the GIS field and use ofGIS software. - Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
How will you contribute
- B.S. or B.A. in Geography Computer Science or related GIS Environmental Disciplinecommensurate with hiring discipline.
- This level may be achieved by GISpractitioners with 2 years of experience since Bachelors degree or 1 year since Masters.
- Proven technical writing and communication skills. Eligible for project management training
