We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position is strictly available to candidates residing within the United States and applications from individuals outside the U.S. will not be considered.
The Architectural Technologist will support architectural design and project delivery through the preparation of technical drawings construction documentation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency in-depth knowledge of building systems and the ability to work independently in a remote professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed architectural drawings technical plans and construction documents in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes
Translate conceptual designs into accurate and buildable technical documentation
Develop and maintain drawings for permit submissions construction and revisions
Coordinate with architects engineers consultants and contractors to ensure design accuracy and constructability
Review drawings for quality consistency and compliance with building codes zoning regulations and industry standards
Assist with material specifications schedules and technical reports
Manage drawing updates and revisions throughout project lifecycles
Utilize BIM and CAD software to support efficient project execution
Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate effectively with remote project teams
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Architectural Technology Architecture or a related field
Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar technical role
Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other relevant architectural software
Strong understanding of U.S. building codes construction methods and documentation standards
Experience producing permit-ready and construction-ready drawings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setting
Must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
Annual Salary: $70000 $95000 USD.
