Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal ICA Engineer youll play a vital role in every aspect of instrumentation and control/automation engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water Aviation Defence Energy Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Role

• Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes and to high-quality levels.

• Prepare briefs scopes of work and input into bid proposals.

• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.

• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

About you

• Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.

• Experience in leading design delivery including multidisciplinary design.

• Sound knowledge ICA design (instrumentation PLC and SCADA systems) motor control systems system architecture fieldbus/communication networks P&IDs ATEX installation practice functional safety development of control specifications (URS/FDS) schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment.

• Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages following applicable standards working practices and national guidance.
