Responsibilities

In this new role as the Assistant Nurse Manager youll take the leadership and administrative skills you developed in your time at the bedside and use them to support a top performing team. Your direct contribution to Communitys mission of helping all those we serve is in coordinating patient care driving performance improvements and ensuring operational efficiency. Youre excited to foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued and to help team members navigate their career growth.

Qualifications

Education
High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
For NICU and Pediatrics only:
o Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN or MSN) required
Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR other healthcare related Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience
Strong clinical experience in nursing; previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
For specific departments only:
o ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
