Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-orientedSP3D Administratorto join our engineering team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 1215 years of hands-on experience in managing and administering SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) environments with a strong background in engineering design systems database management and project execution support.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the SP3D environment including setup configuration and customization.
- Manage SP3D databases project structures and user access controls.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams for SP3D-related issues.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering departments to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Develop and maintain SP3D project templates catalogs and specifications.
- Perform regular system backups updates and troubleshooting.
- Train and mentor junior team members on SP3D best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
About you
Required skills and experience
- Diploma Bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 1215 years of experience in SP3D administration in the oil & gas petrochemical or infrastructure sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of SP3D modules (Piping Equipment Structure Electrical etc.).
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and SmartPlant Foundation.
- Experience with integration of SP3D with other engineering tools (e.g. SPPID SPEL etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in SP3D or related tools.
- Experience with cloud-based SP3D deployments.
- Familiarity with other Hexagon tools and platforms.
