Job Description:
Category Manager builds strong partnerships with our clients to deepen collaboration and execute MW category strategy. Category Manager analyses external data & customer insights and come with proposals on opportunities to capitalize on Category growth (improve quality & quantity of distribution and ultimately Mars and total Category performance for customers in scope).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead category and channel growth analysis incorporating customers insights and provide inputs to planning cycles.
Lead the implementation and execution of the category vision.
Expand depth of collaboration with customers following the customer collaboration framework.
Lead initiatives for our key growth platforms related to shelf/category management.
Identify and execute projects to achieve excellent instore execution in line with Picture of Success.
Provide distribution targets at planning stage in agreement with sales.
Business Partner KAM to agree and drive bold actions per SCM customers.
What are we looking for
A bachelors or masters degree in economics marketing or equivalent.
Customer experience with ability to engage influence and impact customers by providing guidance on strategic direction of category.
Category Leadership expertise in relevant practices.
Broad and in depth understanding of FMCG context and retail landscape.
High analytical acumen with ability to drive and translate insights into relevant strategies and tactics (actions / initiatives) internally and for execution with our customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Ukrainian.
