Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Functional QA / Test Analyst with strong ServiceNow expertise to join our CBS Business Quality Assurance team. This role operates within project and product teams to deliver high-quality functional and automated testing including API validation and back-end/infrastructure process testing.

You will be responsible for executing functional test activities while aligning with the broader QA Automation Strategy led by the Test Architect. The testing landscape is diversecovering desktop environments (Mac and Windows) off-the-shelf and custom-built applications and complex integrations.


Your Role & Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Engineering

  • Execute testing for large-scale complex deliveries built on ServiceNow technologies.

  • Perform functional integration regression and compatibility testing across ServiceNow modules.

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) defect reporting defect triage and test closure activities.

  • Assess and review unit tests to ensure quality coverage and alignment with standards.

  • Produce QA metrics dashboards and reports to communicate quality status to stakeholders.

Automation & CI/CD Enablement

  • Develop and enhance functional test automation frameworks.

  • Implement and maintain automation solutions using tools such as Selenium Tricentis Tosca and AutomatePro.

  • Embed quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results for defects and improvements.

  • Support automation-first and DevSecOps-aligned testing practices.

Process Improvement & Team Enablement

  • Review and continuously improve testing processes practices and standards.

  • Guide and support team members in building and enhancing QA and automation capabilities.

  • Promote best practices across Agile Waterfall DevOps and BDD methodologies.

  • Collaborate closely with developers product owners architects and release teams.


Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

ServiceNow & Automation

  • Proven experience testing ServiceNow modules.

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow test automation tools (e.g. AutomatePro).

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation and test development.

  • Strong experience with automation tools such as Tosca and Selenium.

  • Awareness of ServiceNow testing tools across the SDLC and their appropriate usage.

QA & DevOps

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies: Agile Waterfall DevOps BDD.

  • Experience working within DevSecOps teams and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Understanding of change release and deployment processes.

  • Experience across multiple testing disciplines: functional integration performance compatibility.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of test toolsets and development languages such as C# and Java.

  • Working knowledge of HTML CSS XML JavaScript and web services/APIs.

  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

Certifications & Soft Skills

  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong written verbal and presentation skills.

  • High attention to detail with a proactive quality-driven mindset.

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional confident and collaborative approach.


Desirable / Preferred Experience

  • Advanced experience testing ServiceNow and ServiceNow automation tools (e.g. AutomatePro).

  • Background in a top-tier consultancy or large enterprise environment.

  • ISTQB Certified Agile Tester certification.

  • ServiceNow Fundamentals certification(s).
