How you will contribute
A Surgical Technician who excels in this role:
- Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Reports to the Director of Surgery/OR.
- Patient Populations Served: Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult.
- Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic Clinical Insurance Financial Complete Medical Record.
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present.
- Frequent standing walking lifting/moving patients and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards including blood and bodily fluids hazardous medications and latex.
What we are looking for
Minimum of 6 months of prior experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Graduate of a surgical technology program preferred.
