Job Summary

Assistant Store Manager

Loris Gifts

As an Assistant Store Manager youll help lead a compassionate retail team within a hospital gift shop environment ensuring every guest experience reflects our core values of integrity empathy and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and support sales growth.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
  • Follow visual merchandising and promotional guidelines.
  • Uphold operational procedures and company policies.
  • Accurately process transactions using POS systems; may handle bank deposits.
  • Assist in scheduling training and coaching team members.
  • Independently open and close the store.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year of experience in retail hospitality or customer service.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays.
