Position Overview
Ray Audio Video is seeking an Audio-Video Install Technician to join our installation team. This role focuses on installing integrating and supporting residential and commercial AV systems.
We are ideally looking for someone with prior AV or low-voltage experience but we are also open to candidates from related technical trades who are mechanically inclined detail-oriented and eager to build a career in the AV industry.
What Youll Do
- Install and integrate audio video control and networking systems
- Perform structured wiring device mounting and equipment termination
- Build and wire AV equipment racks to company standards
- Read and follow system designs and wiring diagrams
- Configure and test systems for proper operation
- Troubleshoot technical issues during and after installation
- Maintain clean professional job sites
- Communicate effectively with teammates and clients
What Were Looking For
- Preferred: Experience with audio-video low-voltage or networking systems
- Also considered: Experience in electrical IT security or construction trades
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable punctual and accountable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Valid drivers license
