Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail SEO Analyst to support organic search growth within a fast-paced eCommerce environment. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who enjoys problem-solving data analysis and working across multiple teams. The SEO Analyst will focus on improving organic search visibility keyword rankings and revenue performance across desktop and mobile platforms with an emphasis on content SEO and local search optimization.
Reporting to the Manager Search Marketing this role partners closely with marketing site merchandising IT and external vendors to support broader business objectives. The ideal candidate is analytically strong adaptable and comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Build format and publish content in a CMS while ensuring SEO best practices and error-free execution
Leverage AI content tools to create and update SEO-optimized blog posts landing pages and other digital assets
Conduct keyword research and analysis using industry-standard SEO platforms
Optimize on-page elements including titles meta descriptions headers URLs and body content
Pull analyze and maintain SEO performance reports using web analytics and search console tools (Excel-based reporting)
Monitor organic search performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Perform competitive and market analysis to inform SEO strategies
Collaborate with site merchandising and marketing teams to develop content aligned with SEO and business goals
Research consumer behavior and industry trends using tools such as Google Trends
Support technical SEO initiatives audits and ongoing optimization projects
Contribute to improving user experience conversion performance and organic traffic quality
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Marketing or a related field
Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as:
Google Search Console
Adobe Analytics
GA360 / GA4
Bing Webmaster Tools
Experience managing keyword lists rankings and SEO performance data
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including creative branding content merchandising and IT
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Experience using job ticketing or project management systems
Preferred Skills & Experience
Background or strong interest in beauty fashion retail or consumer-focused industries
Exposure to conversion rate optimization (CRO) or user experience (UX) principles
Experience supporting large eCommerce product catalogs
