Job Summary

Our Shop Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness safety and overall functionality of the dealerships facilities. This role requires attention to detail reliability proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a shop environment that remains organized well-maintained and fully operational to support daily business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the shop offices restrooms and surrounding grounds to ensure a safe sanitary and organized environment.
Assist with general upkeep of equipment and work areas.
Handle trash removal floor care window cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies and equipment ensuring they are in good working order.
Follow safety protocols dealership policies and industry regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
Report facility issues or needed repairs promptly to the Shop Manager/Shop Foreman.
Support the operational needs of the service team by maintaining clean work areas and assisting with special projects as assigned.
Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on productivity safety and quality.
Maintain high standards of professionalism and contribute to a positive customer and employee experience.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in custodial janitorial or maintenance roles preferred.
Basic knowledge of facility maintenance cleaning procedures tools and equipment.
Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and willingness to assist others as needed
Dependable team player with a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Must be able to walk stand bend kneel reach stoop crouch and move for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms.
Capable of safely working in a shop environment around equipment and machinery.
Full dexterity and mobility required to operate cleaning equipment and handle tools.
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts cleaning chemicals fumes and airborne particles.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures.

Working Conditions:

Experience a busy and dynamic work environment that includes both climate-controlled areas and parts storage facilities with exposure to varying temperatures noise levels and the physical demands of a bustling dealership.
Work primarily in an air-conditioned shop with ongoing exposure outdoor areas and moving equipment.
Be prepared for a full-time schedule that may include extended hours evenings and weekends to support the operational needs of our luxury dealership operations.
