IT Enterprise Applications Specialist
The Job
In this role you will be part of the digital transformation team that is responsible for the business tools at Septentrio. You will get the opportunity to get a broad insight into Septentrios organization allowing you to grow and understand improve and digitalize the business processes within the organization.
As IT Applications Specialist you will support the current business tools at Septentrio and introduce new system-enabled business capabilities. Using your expertise in SAP and Power BI you will work together with key users and process owners both on a functional and a technical level. You are also willing to learn new business tools such as Jira and Salesforce.
You turn your analytical and technical IT skills into business value by digitalizing our processes and integrating our business tools.
Your Mission
As an IT Enterprise Applications Specialist you master our business tools. You can provide expert support for SAP and the Power BI platform ensuring stability performance and compliance with governance standards. Act as the central point of contact for platform-related issues including troubleshooting report performance dataset refresh failures and semantic model connectivity. Collaborate with departmental teams to guide best practices for data modeling and optimization without taking ownership of their reports or models. Maintain and monitor Power BI Service components such as workspaces gateways and capacities while managing user access and security in alignment with organizational policies.
Your role will be to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. Youll actively engage with stakeholders to understand and prioritize their needs ensuring everything aligns with our overarching business objectives.
Youll collaborate closely with business and integration partners to design and integrate technical solutions. Overseeing the end-to-end implementation process youll employ robust quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Youll support the implementation of business processes in tools like SAP Power BI Jira Salesforce or 24flow. Youll enhance the integration of these solutions by implementing robust techniques that allow for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Youll be the go-to person for resolving day-to-day issues raised by key users communicating effectively and identifying opportunities for ongoing enhancement to meet our ever-changing business needs. Youll assist in project management aiming to harmonize tools and processes. Keeping comprehensive documentation and staying up-to-date with industry trends will be key for continuous improvement.
Youll also communicate and reinforce standard business process concepts and methodologies. Providing training to managers and key users and drafting internal user documentation and work instructions will be part of your responsibilities.
Your Qualifications
You hold a masters degree in IT engineering or economics or equivalent by experience. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT-related role as a business analyst or technical consultant you bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.
You have a solid understanding of the Power BI and components of SAP ERP 6.0 at a functional level and experience supporting in SAP.
You have technical experience and are familiar with at least one integration technique or platform such as BAPI IDoc web service SOAP REST SOAMANAGER RFC SAP Java Connector or SAP CPI. Your eagerness to learn new systems and tools is evident.
You think conceptually and can see and work on the bigger picture. Fluent in English you possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. You work independently thrive on challenges and are result-oriented.
