Role overview
As our ER Advisoryoullbe a trusted partner to leadersand managersacrossNewmedicaand our Ophthalmology Joint Venture partnerships(OJVs) offering practicaltimelyemployee relationsadvice on people matters while keeping us aligned to employment legislation and our policies.
Youllreport to the Head of People. This isafull-timehomebased role with nationwide travel as andyoullplay a key part in nurturing fair consistent outcomes across the business.
What are we looking for
This role is a Fixed Term Contract until June 2026.Werelooking for someone who isimmediatelyavailable and can start the contract in January 2026.We will be holding interviews on 15thand 16thJanuary.We are ideally looking for someone based in the Nottingham area.
Youllbe someone who enjoys solving complex ER challenges and can balance empathy with clearevidence-basedjudgement.
Youllguide managers through the full spectrum of ER issuesfrom probation and sickness through performance grievance and disciplinaryattending meetings and hearings when needed keeping cases moving and leaders informed.
Youllcompile insights from monthly trends suggest proactive interventions and support organisational change all while coaching managers to build capability and confidence.
Youllalso help keep our policies current and fit for purpose represent HR at the Policy Sub-committee and share knowledge across the HR team.
What skills and experience do I need
You bring a solid foundation in HRminimum CIPD Level 3 and ideally Level 5 and a strongtrack recordof resolving ER cases in multisite environments.
Your advice is grounded inup-to-dateUK employment law and best practice andyoureconfident writing clear usable policies.
Personally you thrive in afast-pacedsetting communicate brilliantly stay calm under pressure and know when to escalate.
Youreorganised pragmatic discreet andITsavvy with a flexible curious mindset; experience in healthcare is a bonus.
Whatwereoffering
- Circa 40000 per annum pro rata depending on experience
- Up to 15%company bonus paid quarterly based on company performance and personalobjective
- Profit sharescheme (subject to qualifying period)
