Job Summary

Hunton Distribution a division of Hunton Group in Houston TX () has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as a Warehouse Associate. The selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the warehouse and stores on-site activities including managing receipts stocking and shipping of products staging and delivering customer orders and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.

Responsibilities:

Staging shipping and receiving parts equipment and supplies - HVAC.
Stock the parts store with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
Assist with inventory control and entering inventory into the software system.
Delivers parts supplies equipment and other HVAC related products to customer locations or job sites as needed.
File M/Ss freight bills of lading equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
File freight claims for damaged goods.
Manage receipt inspecting and stocking products.
Determine inventory levels; identify and dispose of excess and obsolete inventory and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
Other duties may be assigned.

Skills Required:

Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
Must complete an MVR.
Must have good interpersonal and phone skills to communicate and assist inside sales personnel and customers.
Load and unload trucks.
Pull and put away equipment on pallets or boxes using a forklift.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

Education and/or Experience Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 - 5 years of proven forklift experience.
1 years of experience driving a 20 box truck with liftgate.
