The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Conductprocess mapping data analysis and timemotion studies to identify waste variation and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implementcontinuous improvementinitiatives using Lean Six Sigma and statistical methods.
- Definestandard operating procedures (SOPs) work instructions and control plans to ensure repeatable high-quality outcomes.
- Design experiments and apply root-cause analysis tools (5 Whys Fishbone) to solve complex issues.
- Collaborate with operations quality safety IT and finance topilot validate and scaleimprovements.
- Builddashboards and KPIsto monitor throughput yield cycle time and cost; recommend corrective actions based on trends.
- Lead or supportautomation and digitizationprojects (e.g. workflow automation MES/ERP/BPM systems) to streamline processes.
- Ensurecompliance with regulatory safety and quality standards; drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Train stakeholders on new processes and change management tosustain improvements.
Expected Outcomes
- Deliver baselineprocess capabilityandthroughput
- Implement at least23 targeted improvements reducing cycle time defects or cost by agreed thresholds.
- EstablishSOPs KPIs and dashboardsfor ongoing monitoring and governance.
Qualifications
- 37 years of experience inprocess engineering operations excellence or continuous improvement roles.
- Proficiency withLean/Six Sigmatools; Green Belt preferred (Black Belt a plus).
- Strong analytical skills withstatistical analysis(SPC regression DOE) and practical problem-solving.
- Experience withprocess mapping toolsand data tools (Excel/Power BI/Tableau; SQL is a plus).
- Excellent communication andstakeholder managementskills; able to influence without authority.
