Job Summary

Domestic Considerations: RSDs inline with current restrictions. Army Reserve post flexibility to work late nights and weekends and exercises up to 2 weeks.

Position/Role: Squadron Sergeant Major
Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all ITRs are carried out.

2. Monitor and maintain standards of discipline dress and military bearing of all Squadron members in barracks and in the field.

3. Sqn SME for all Basic Close Combat Skills and Mil Trg.

4. Develop a coaching and mentoring culture within the Sqn including development of Troop SNCOs.

5. Ensure COs physical development policy is fully implemented.

6. Provide mentoring and guidance for NCOs within the Squadron.

7. Control the support elements of SHQ on exercise and operations.
