Job Summary
A dynamic commercial position in a high performing team with excellent employment terms and benefits and with ample growth opportunities
Drive growth with Maersks Air Freight product and delivering value through adoption of Maersk Logistics & Services (L&S) products to complement the Air Freight Solutions
- Manages assigned customers and budget base; pursues and secures new Air Freight business in line with business objectives
- Identifies customer needs and pain points and provides value-based solutions
- Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base
- Communicates significant trends rate changes and policies to assigned customers
- Researches and understands the market to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers
- Research and analyse global & local industry trends for Air Freight
- Ensures the customer relationship management tool (Salesforce) is updated with all opportunities and ensures a full sales opportunity funnel with opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle
- Works closely with local North America Air Freight Product organization to grow Air Freight and revenues
- Works closely with the capacity and campaign manager to formalize commercial plans and ensure maximization of asset utilization
