Job Summary
This position is a part-time position at the middle school level where the candidate will teach middle school instrumental classes as well as middle school band. The part-time Middle School Band Teacher at Clinton Middle School will be responsible for directing and developing the band program for students in grades 58. This position includes planning and delivering engaging music instruction preparing students for performances and concerts and fostering an appreciation for instrumental music. The teacher will assess student progress maintain an organized rehearsal environment and promote teamwork discipline and creativity among band members. Collaboration with colleagues communication with families and participation in school-wide events are also key components of the Middle School has a thriving general music and chorus program in place. A successful candidate will leverage these resources to deepen impact in band and instrumental classes.
