The Director builds and scales user experience and research practices defines design standards and ensures every digital interaction reflects our commitment to trust simplicity and innovation. Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute a comprehensive digital product strategy aligned with Securitas global business objectives and 2030 transformation vision.
- Partner with the VP of Product and Innovation to align product roadmaps with organization priorities.
- Translate business goals into meaningful user experiences that deliver measurable impact for both clients and employees.
Team Leadership & Growth
- Lead mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team of User Experience professionals
- Define clear roles responsibilities and career progression paths within the user & product experience function.
- Build a culture of feedback collaboration and continuous improvement encouraging curiosity and innovation.
- Champion diversity inclusion and psychological safety ensuring all voices are heard and ideas valued.
User Experience & Design
- Establish and oversee UX strategy and design standards for Securitas digital product suite (e.g. MySecuritas MyConnect Client Excellence Platform and more).
- Build a scalable design system and shared component library to ensure consistency accessibility and global alignment.
- Champion user-centered design principles and represent the voice of clients employees and officers in all product decisions.
User Research & Insights
- Develop and scale a user research program to capture insights from field operations clients and end users.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide product decisions and continuously improve usability and adoption.
- Lead usability testing surveys and field studies to validate concepts and identify friction points in user journeys.
- Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Managers Engineers Operations Commercia teams and Business Analysts to translate user needs into clear requirements and actionable product roadmaps.
- Support agile execution through informed prioritization feature definition and iterative testing.
- Collaborate across global product and regional teams to ensure solutions scale effectively and reflect operational realities.
Governance & Communication
- Maintain core product artifacts including user personas journey maps experience blueprints and design documentation.
- Communicate product experience strategy decisions and progress to executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Foster a culture of experimentation inclusion and continuous improvement across the Product and UX community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Education/Experience:
Required
- Bachelors degree in design human-computer interaction business or related field.
- 10 years of experience in digital product management UX strategy or experience design ideally within complex enterprise or service environments.
- 5 years of experience leading and developing teams of designers and/or researchers.
- Proven success in defining and executing digital experience strategies at scale.
- Strong understanding of agile software development product management frameworks and enterprise data environments.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Adobe XD Sketch).
Preferred
- Masters degree in HCI Design MBA or related discipline.
- Experience in security services operations logistics or workforce management technology.
- Background in enterprise SaaS or multi-platform ecosystems (web mobile).
- Champion of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Knowledge of analytics behavioral data and experience measurement frameworks.
