The Contractor Program Manager will lead program execution for a large Space Force Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) missions worldwide. Based in Colorado Springs CO the Contractor Program Manager will be fully responsible for assigned programs and staff in Colorado Springs and the geographically dispersed contract locations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Single focal point for Government on all contract correspondence & matters.
Responsible for all communication and actions required in performance of this TO.
Responsible for all facets of planning and execution of the program including technical and financial performance program safety program quality and customer satisfaction.
Defines program objectives develops project plans and allocates resources to meet business goals providing strategic direction guidance and support to ensure successful Task order execution.
Conducts Program Management Reviews (PMRs) produces status reports and accomplishes contractor manpower reporting. Supports teleconferences and quarterly Technical Interchange Meetings with the customer.
Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders communicating progress risks and issues effectively.
Develops skills and competencies of high performing team and oversee talent development/capabilities throughout the program with focus on continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with all applicable contractual legal regulatory and corporate guidance.
Plans directs and monitors program budget.
Accountable for delivering on time within budget and with high quality.
Prepare proposals business plans proposal work statements and specifications operating budget and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Supports contract transition.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree and 12 years of experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience is required.
Must live in Colorado Springs CO.
Citizenship and Clearance:
US Citizen.
Active Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI is required.
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of satellite communications (SATCOM)/telecommunications.
Experience with Wideband Satellite Operations Centers (WSOCs) and RSSCs highly desired.
Exhibits exceptional degree of ingenuity creativity and resourcefulness for problem solving and customer service.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to manage complex programs with a diverse and distributed employee population in a restrictive contractual environment.
Experience with leading work teams in a continuous improvement environment with quality management tools behaviors and practices.
Effectively manages resources schedules budgets and makes technical business decisions; Understands and can apply risk management principles to day-to-day operations.
Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels both written and oral.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customers and build strong relationships.
SCHEDULED WEEKLY HOURS:
Normal hours of operation ( hours).
40 hours 5 days a week.
TRAVEL:
Must be willing to travel internationally approximately 25-30%.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Compensation:
$169600 - $212000
This range is for the CO area only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates work location knowledge skills abilities and/or experience clearance level contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
